7 years of tutoring experience. CRLA level 2 tutoring certification Current USOE teaching license It's been a while, but I scored a 31 on the ACT and a 5 on the AP Calc AB tests. I like tutoring because I get to help people better understand math without having to deal with all the classroom management. I'm good at it because I'm really patient and know a lot about math. Since My degree is in Math education I've taken all the required courses plus a few extra: through Calc 3, linear algebra, differential equations, statistics, foundations of geometry, analysis, abstract algebra, discrete math, and a few others. I've also worked for several years at a boy scout camp as a pool director, then the climbing director and now as a COPE and Climbing director. It keeps my teaching skills sharp during the summer when there isn't a lot of tutoring opportunities.
